In his Second Inaugural Address, President Abraham Lincoln looked toward the healing of the nation after years of Civil War. He maintained that the conflict must end the evil worldview of slavery. From Lincoln we learn that, in the war of ideas, love and logic are both required.

The Word Unshackled

Jesus said In John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The Word of God is itself free and will always promote freedom in us one way or another. Paul will prove this fact with his own arrest, but that didn't stop the word! As he put it, "the word of God is not bound."

The Passive Christian

It is an oxymoron to be a passive Christian. The very name "Christian" means Christ-like—and the Lord Jesus was never passive in obedience and service. This study will destroy the belief that being neutral, which makes one passive and idle, is neither good nor bad. If we do nothing, Satan and his servants will work all the harder!
